The mission of The Western Massachusetts Center for Healthy Communities (WMCHC) is to build the capacity of people and organizations to improve health in western Massachusetts by providing consulting, training and resources to design effective programs, policies and systems.
We can help your school, organization or coalition use the proven-effective prevention programs and strategies best suited to the unique needs and strengths of your community.

Promote collaboration among communities to reduce the use of alcohol, tobacco, and other drugs particularly among youth and young adults.
Mobilize youth and young adults for leadership and civic action.
Health Services
We offer a range of services that support prevention and health promotion efforts. Our focus is on alcohol, tobacco, and other drug prevention and violence prevention.
